Glass Spray Bottle

This glass spray bottle is a useful tool with many applications for bread baking:

• Before using a proofing basket for the first time, I spray the proofing basket with water and dust it with a mixture of fine flour and potato starch so that the dough easily releases.
• To stretch and fold dough, I first spray my hands with water so that the dough doesn't stick to my hands.
• If I want to achieve a shiny crust, I spray the surface of the dough before baking.

The narrow shape of the spray bottle fits well in the hand, so many sprays can be repeated in a short time.
