This cast iron enamel bread pan from Riess is my favorite for baking banana bread, king cakes, and small loaves of bread. With a light greasing, every loaf and cake comes out effortlessly, eliminating the guilt associated with harmful ingredients found in non-stick coatings. It makes me wonder how non-stick and silicone baking pans gained popularity in the first place. There's also no need for complex lining with baking paper. Additionally, cast iron enamel pans are extremely scratch and cut resistant, and their resistance to acids makes them ideal for baking with sourdough. Riess enamel care cleans and polishes your enamel cookware and glass-ceramic cooktops, removing burnt-on stains, and restoring enamel surfaces to their former bright and shiny glory. This cleaning paste is also a secret weapon for cleaning stubborn encrustations in your oven (only use if your oven interior is enameled).
Instructions: Apply a small amount of the cleaner with a soft brush or sponge and a little water to the surface and scrub clean. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a cloth. Wear protective gloves and follow the package instructions!
